2026-PRE-SEASON TOURNEY FOR PJHL CLUBS
TOURNEY INVITATION FOR THE WEEKEND OF AUGUST 27th TO 30th, 2026

May 30th, 2026 – (PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGES (1 WEEK LATER))

This is an invitation for your club to join us for our 3rd PJHL PRE-SEASON TOURNEY.

This tourney will guarantee your team 3 games with officials and timekeepers.
Every team will play: 1-game Thursday or Friday evening and 2-games on Saturday.
The Championship game of the top two teams will be played Sunday morning at 11 am.
All games will be played at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls.
Games will consist of 2-15 minute stop time periods and 1-20 minute stop time period.
FLOODS AFTER EVERY 2ND PERIOD OF HOCKEY (Time permitting, we will flood more often)

There is no overtime or shoot outs in these preliminary round games. Each team will get 1 point for a tie.
When tied in points for top spot. The method of breaking a tie for top spot  if two or more teams are tied. Head to Head. Best Goals for and against. If still tied, then the least amount of penalty minutes. If still tied then we will flip a coin to see who plays on Sunday.

We hope to have 6 teams or 8 teams.
6 teams would have 2 – 3 team divisions with a cross over game. Top teams from each division advance.
8 teams would have 2 – 4 team divisions. Top teams from each division advance.

This tourney will give teams a chance to see many young players trying out for your club and help make decisions earlier so players that you may cut, get a chance to try out with another club.
It is also designed so you won’t have to pay for 3 hours of ice at expensive rates, plus officials for each home exhibition game.
(Home exhibition game estimate cost: Ice-$750.00 + Officials-$400.00 + Timekeeper-$40.00)

There will be a charge for spectators to watch the games ($10.00 per game). Team staff, players and managers free of charge. Please send a list of Executive and Team Staff so we have this at the front gate. Weekend pass for $25.00 to see all 3 regular scheduled games for sale at front desk. Playoff game will have a $10.00 fee.
